Course Name: DEVELOP YOUR GROUP MANAGEMENT SKILLS AND ACTIVATE YOUR CLASSROOM.
Many teachers, even though they have the knowledge and methodology to teach in their respective field, find it very difficult to implement it them in a classroom full of children. That is why it is important to have a more holistic approach, especially when it comes to class management. The goal of this program will be to train teachers in a wide variety of class management techniques so that they will be able to implement them in equivalent classroom environment. Those techniques will help teachers create an environment in which both themselves and the students can understand one another better and build an educational group with mutual trust, respect and motive.

Objectives:
- How to set goals and use problem-solving techniques
- How to be well organized and prepared
- How to reinforce the students’ participation
- How to prepare a better structure of your lessons to minimize distractions
- How to manage stress and negative emotions
- How to communicate better (listening skills, assertive behavior)
- How to manage children’s behavior (both positive and negative) during and after the lesson
- How to manage classroom conflicts
Methodology:
The program will be based on theories and techniques of adult education, cognitive behavioral approach and group management. It will incorporate both theoretical and practical learning. The trainees will actively participate in the educational process so that they themselves can experience all the techniques and skills they will be learning. By the end of the program they will have a basic understanding of the theoretical approach and they will be able to use all the techniques and skills in their classrooms.

The course takes place in Larisa ( Greece), 2 hours distance from the airport of Thessaloniki.
